Jean D’Imbleval
À propos de l'artiste
Jean d’Imbleval (1929 - 2014) is interested in the cube as a constructed form conceived by humans since the dawn of time. This perfect shape generates surprises in d’Imbleval’s work, because beholders look for it if they know of its existence in advance, while to others it appears by chance or magic during a lingering gaze. Between the magic of a self-inducing structure and a cube hidden in a box, remaining invisible to the eye, d’Imbleval not only calls on the imagination but also sparks our curiosity.
