Victor Vasarely

À propos de l'artiste

A master of the optical or kinetic work known as “Op Art,” Victor Vasarely was less known for his paintings of the 1950s, in which he managed to structure the overall surface through his use of shapes that stood out from the background in terms of form and color : overall pictures were thus composed, in a fleeting way, of drawings that uniformly covered the entire surface of the image

Born in 1906 in Pecz, Hongary, died in Paris in 1997
