Exposition en coursDu 7 mars au 4 mai

After 29 years on rue du Parc Royal, we moved to 70 rue des Tournelles Paris 3rd. For this inaugural exhibition of our new place, we wanted to pay tribute by thanking different people : Anne and Jean-Claude Lahumière for having initiated this third ’child’ that the gallery represents, of which we find ourselves in charge with undisguised pleasure, the artists who have shown us unfailing support and the collectors who have managed to bring us over the 60-year mark. We would also like to show our gratitude to certain institutions and figures in the history of art, who have engaged with us in beautiful exhibitions, making better known the niche of geometric abstraction to which the gallery has remained faithful throughout these years.

A page is turning and we are very happy to build a continuation of the gallery’s history. This new location better meets our needs, it offers a larger exhibition area, it is more modern and functional, on one level while having the charm of the Marais. Now, after having tested the picture rails at 70 rue des Tournelles with a beautiful display of the works of our contemporary artists, we are able to present the‘tributes’ exhibition. It will offer you a selection of important works from the collection with emblematic artists of geometric abstraction such as Joseph Albers, Naum Gabo, Olle Baertling, Jean Dewasne, Alberto Magnelli and Victor Vasarely, or Günter Fruhtrunk (who’s current show on his Parisian years is running in Munich at the Lehnbachhaus) and of course Auguste Herbin, whose exhibition will open on March 15 at the Musée Montmartre. We will also present some unknown works. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to a moment of sharing, discovery and conviviality.

See you soon !
