Aurélie Nemours

À propos de l'artiste

“If I’d had the strength, I would have spent my life making only one cross, horizontal–vertical, providing me with the shape and nothing else”, said the artist. But she added that she didn’t do it for the simple and human reason that “ she wanted over all sing.” At no moment did Nemours wish to adhere to a standardized system – of either color or form – which would have dried out her painting, making it too rational.
