Yves Popet
À propos de l'artiste
Popet construct emptiness, his emptiness is made out of free and structured spaces, on the canvas the eye exercises to see these structures which are visible only by a loafer eye. Today where everything has to be in a rush, with a too much which is submerging us permanently, Popet paints the implicit pause, to who would like to see what’s happening in his paintings. He helps us to look and accompanies us in this proceeding, he shows us that we can live with emptiness, that it is part of our lives. His painting obliges us to keep our calm in the emptiness.
