Renaud Jacquier Stajnowicz
About the artist
After the horizontal stripes running on the canvas, his work concentrated on the verticality. Some of his paintings remind musical scales, appearing as short vertical stripes following a staircase form, without loosing his personal touch: his superposition of colours playing with the transparency. In the heart of his oeuvre developed itself a fragile balance between rigour and fantasy, shade and light. Even if all these contraries meet, the whole of it delivers a deep calm, nothing is here to irritate the eye.
